On April 10 2012, Kelly Varey of Canberra Australia performed the Crater Climb Out in 7:29. This is particularly impressive for two reasons. She is the mother of two...AND she beat the provious 2nd place time by 26 seconds and that was by a young man in his late teens. AMAZING job, Kelly! Those Aussies are tough and strong, are they not?
